Matt Denton
Matt is known for his diverse interests and passion for paediatric therapy.
Following a serious motorcycle accident and receiving little/no rehab afterwards, his career in the fire service had to end, and he forged a new career in physiotherapy.
With previous degrees in Chemistry, Biology, and now Physiotherapy, Matt's academic pursuits have left a profound interest in evidence based practice. In 2008, he became a qualified physiotherapist, specializing predominantly in musculoskeletal (MSK) therapy.
From 2011, Matt finally secured a position with Sheffield Children's Hospital. In 2019, he assumed the role of a dedicated paediatric knee physio with a commitment to improving rehabilitation for paediatric patients.
Outside his professional achievements, Matt Denton is an avid rock climber, skydiver and base jumper who lives in the Peak District.
