
Shital Parikh
Dr Shital Parikh is a Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and Co-Director of Orthopaedic Sports Centre at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, USA. He specialises in Paediatric Sports Medicine with clinical and research interests focused on Patellar instability, paediatric ACL injuries, arthroscopic treatment of joint instability and paediatric trauma. After completion of Orthopaedic Residency from India, he completed fellowships in 1) Joint Reconstruction at Hospital for Joint Diseases, New York; 2) Paediatric Orthopaedics at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, 3) Trauma fellowship at Sunnybrook Hospital, Toronto and 4) Sports Medicine Fellowship in Cincinnati under Dr Frank Noyes.

He has published several scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals and has been the editor of 2 books – Paediatric ACL (published Dec 2017) and Patellar Instability (coming out Dec 2018). He has presented and has been faculty at various national and international courses and meetings. He is a member of several societies including International Patellofemoral Study Group, Paediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America and Arthroscopy Association of North America. He was awarded the ISAKOS Patellofemoral travelling fellowship in Oct 2014.
